Dhurandhar 2 North America Box Office: Can Ranveer Singh’s Film Match the Premiere Records of Tiger 3 and Animal?

As reported by Koimoi, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is witnessing an impressive start in North America even before its official release. The Ranveer Singh-led action spectacle is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on March 19, with special premiere shows lined up for March 18 in the United States and Canada.
Premiere screenings in North America are relatively rare for Bollywood films, making this release strategy particularly noteworthy. Advance bookings have already opened in the USA, while Canadian sales are expected to begin soon.
Strong Early Trend in the USA
According to data highlighted by Koimoi, the film has sold nearly 4,000 tickets for its premiere shows in the United States as of the latest update. In revenue terms, the advance bookings have generated approximately ₹61.71 lakh (converted at the current exchange rate) in North America so far.
At present, just over 300 shows have been listed for advance sales, with more expected to be added in the coming days. Considering that the premiere is still over two weeks away, the current pace of bookings is being viewed as highly encouraging by trade observers.
The momentum is expected to accelerate further once the official trailer drops and once bookings open in Canada.
Legacy of the First Film
The strong response is also driven by the phenomenal performance of the first Dhurandhar film in North America. The original installment collected around $20.65 million in the territory, making it one of the biggest Bollywood successes in the region.
Ranveer Singh has built a consistent audience base overseas over the years, especially after films like Bajirao Mastani. His overseas track record has contributed significantly to the high expectations surrounding the sequel.
Targeting the $1 Million Premiere Club
With the current booking trend, Dhurandhar 2 is aiming to enter the elite club of Bollywood films that crossed the $1 million mark in North American premiere collections. At present, Animal leads the list with approximately $1.2 million in premieres, followed by Tiger 3 at around $1 million.
Other notable titles in the top premiere charts include War 2, Adipurush, and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva.
If the upward trend continues over the next few days, Dhurandhar 2 could potentially secure a spot among the top three highest North American premieres for a Bollywood release.
With strong pre-sales, limited shows currently listed, and more screens expected to open soon, the film’s North American premiere performance will be closely watched by the trade in the coming weeks.
